Happy Birthday Mommy!

Hello once again!
I truley hope people are reading this....otherwise it might be what some call how do you say, a waste of time?
Anywho, today is my beautiful mother's birthday. I would just like to dedicate this blog to her. She is one of my best friends. she is someone who will unconditionally love me for who I am. She is beautiful, talented, amazing, thoughtful, funny, loving, kind and a whole bunch of other stuff that words cannot measure up to.
I would just like to let her know how much I love her and tell her that she is very special to me and that without her i have no idea how life would continue in any humane way. That may not make scense to some of you, but it does to me.
I am a very blessed person to have family/parents who love me and care. I appreciate that and thank God for it. I learned today that someone close to me has really been thinking and praying for me lately even though they didn't know why. I knew exactley why and i am grateful for their prayers....they helped a bunch in that situation!!! yay!!!
So on that note, the end of today's blog comes, I still have no name for this part but am working on it....I'm thinkin about calling it the "Daily Caboose" ya...I like it...
The Daily Caboose-
Happy Birthday Mom! I love you and would like to set today aside to honor you! Love, your youngest <3

Hello Again!

So I was thinkin that when I started this blog that I would be consistantly posying everyday....ya right! Not gonna happen, I am waaaay tooo busy! Sorry, I'll try my darndest but at the end of the day, when work is over, and your tummy is full of food, you just want to sleep.

Anyways, let's see, the last couple of days have been pretty good, and yet parts of it have been very interesting. So Monday I worked....it was once again CHAOS! I was exhausted by the end of the day....not too much excitement to write about.

Yesterday, Tuesday, was another day at work, not eventful, after answering phone calls and taking people's money and laughing at my boss Dr. Ron because his 60 year old refrigerater finally died, I went to youth. Youth was good.....we played capture the flag and had worship and then Shayla spoke. She was talking about not settling for second best and going for the gold. it was way good. For me, wanting to go to Vet School is a huge dream, but sometimes I tend to look into other cheaper professions, well, no longer will I let the money part of life get in my way! Muh wahaahahaha!!! God knows the plans that he has for me and with/through him ALL things are possible!

So, today was great! I had the day off, I woke up around eleven, had to go to the college and do boring transcript stuff, then I went to Snohomish to the aunt and uncles house to get the whole briefing thingy for housesitting and now I'm home. and ya know what? I'm gonna take a nap because I am sweepy....and just because I can!

So on that note, the part with the encouraging quote or ending part of this blog has arrived. (I gotta get a better name for that)

-Go for the gold, don't let anyone crush your dreams, but more importantly, don't let yourself crush your dreams, trust God to show you how to go about life, and be content in where He has you!

My Weekend/First Blog

Hello World!

Well, per the title, this is my first blog, I hope that you who don't know me very well learn more about myself, and for those of you who do know me, maybe this is your chance to perfect your knowledge.
So I would like to start with thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read this, I hope that this will keep your interest and keep you coming back hoping and waiting to read more about me and my life and maybe, hopefully, parts of it will help you!
Here we go.....

My name is Sarah. This weekend was pretty swell. I worked on Friday and got a lot of stuff done finally. For those of you who don't know, i work at a veterinary clinic in Smokey Pt. My boss was out of town and we had all of 5 appts. on Friday (which is a VERY RARE occurrence for a Friday) so I was able to get a whole bunch off cleaning and odd and end type of stuff done that usually gets neglected or quickly blown over. And, on top of that, we closed an hour early!!! (Now that NEVER happens.) So after work i was on my way to exercise Callie, a horse that I have been training since December '07, and Dad called me to inform me that the "Dohner Wild Hair" had once again shown its cute lil face and that if i got home quick enough Dad, my sister Shayla and I would be hittin up Lake Cavanaugh for the "evening glass" and hopefully get in a good two hours of water skiing in! yay! So that was my Friday...Hope ya'll aren't too bored yet....

Anywho, the rest of my weekend consisted of chillin by the aunt and uncle's pool with Brie (my bestie), Dinner in Snohomish with Brie and Phillip (another Bestie) and a nightcap of Chocolate milkshakes...yummy...oh ya...Brie spent the night....
Ok, on to Sunday, Brie went to church with me then I went with her family to the Scottish Highland Games in Mt. Vernon. Nothin better on a sunny Sunday afternoon than watching sheepdog herding contests, listening to awesome Scottish music, bagpipes, and men throwing telephone poles in the air...love it!
So I guess that's it. I don't consider myself a writer, or a poet. I have a journal where every thought of the day tends to find itself and if anyone were ever to read it....well that's just not gonna happen so let's not worry about that. Anyways I hope you enjoyed reading this and I would like to try to leave something encouraging at the end of every one of my blogs whether it be just something that pops into my brain, a quote I heard, or a bible verse, so here is today's and it's a quote my dad said today in hi preaching, I hope he doesn't mind:

'Depravity is contagious; Holiness is a choice.'
-Dan Dohner
